my last few weeks in Ghana...

I'm skipping the last few weeks journal posts because they are just too long and I am sure you have all had enough of my novels but I will say that the last week was a bit of a struggle. Hard as I tried to not get trunky, it is very difficult especially when research is complete and you are just hanging out in Ghana...surprisingly there is absolutely nothing to do aside from the entertainment you make for yourself when you no longer have a purpose in being there but we found adventures and did school and kept ourselves busy and laughing so it was still great. Some highlights are as follows:

1. dinnertime. no table, no utencils...dig in

 2. pounding palm nuts for their oil...hard work i tell ya
 3. my favorite pals...yep I wore the same shirt 3 times that last week. I love Ghana
 4. some of the hospital staff...Jackie and I are wearing outfits that were given to us as a gift.
 5. SWIMMING!!!! best ever, at a hotel in Kumasi (in the city)
 6. Cassie and Kofi walking down to the Wiamoase house
 7. coolest grasshopper I've ever seen
 8. Just weeding at the farm. machetes for life
 8. Primary children!
 9. Some members of our branch...last Sunday at church
Lets just say it was the perfect conclusion to the perfect summer. Perfect is a word I use very loosely here yet I know that it was perfect for me. I love you Ghana. I always will.
